So use advertorials, have all the legal pages and everything set up and make your pages less aggressive to avoid any issues with moderation.

TikTok Campaign launching Process : 

First of all, if you don’t have an account with TikTok, head over to and create your account. If you have a registered business do not forget to claim the 1 on 1 credit top-up offer. 

Once you have signed up, Create a new campaign. 

In the first step, you will have to choose Buying Type, There is only the ”Auction” option available at the moment. 

In the Advertising Objective section, select one of the two recommended options:

Traffic (Consideration) Or Conversions (Conversion)option. For the conversions option sometimes a conversion pixel setup could be a little complicated for some people, here is a detailed tutorial by Voluum you can check it out.  

In the next step under settings, you can give your campaign a name and you can also choose if you would like to split the test between two audiences: ”targeting” groups.  

Once the basic campaign settings are saved, you will have to set your Ad Group settings. After this, you can choose a placement in the ad group. Aside from TikTok, you can have access to a few other platforms for example 

Pangle: Pangle is a video advertising platform targeting users in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia

Helo: Helo is a social networking service for India

After selecting placements, the next step is to Insert your tracking URL. If you have any confusion, have a look at the link to the Voluum guide I shared above. 

In the next step, you are asked to enter Profile Image and display name (your brand name) 

Now you need to choose a category related to your offer and then you will have to add keywords related to your offer. In this option you will have to add keywords related to your target audience, for example, I want those people who like contests, like to win free stuff, like iPhones etc.

In the devices section, you can choose target devices, connection and Carriers/ISP settings. It’s always a good idea to ask your affiliate manager to provide you with the breakdown of conversion rate based on browser, ISP, OS etc for the offer you are promoting so you can focus on high converters from the very start.

The bidding section is pretty straight-forward, just like other social media platforms. 

When it comes to creatives always remember TikTok, Pangle does not accept image creatives so you will have to create videos. You can easily furnish videos using Canva or you can hire someone to do videos for you from Fiverr. A quick YouTube search will reveal tons of videos which you can use as examples and create your videos accordingly. Adding to this, make sure you create multiple creatives/videos so you can properly test and optimize your campaigns properly. Remember, test, test, test, until you perfect your creatives.
